The Northeast District was founded in 1988. During the 2010/2011 school year, the district served 7,800 students across Northeast Georgia We are currently serving students in the following counties: Banks, Barrow, Clarke, Dawson, Forsyth, Hall, Habersham, Jackson, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, and White Our office is located in Gainesville near Brenau University. The office is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of business and community leaders.
