Junior Achievement of Georgia’s focus is to build successful long-term partnerships with schools by supporting and enhancing the strategic plans already set forth by each school. JA of Georgia seeks to build self-sustaining members of society by inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Independent evaluators have found that students who participate in JA programs, particularly those who participate in programs at consecutive grade levels, demonstrate a significant understanding of economics and business concepts.

JA enables concerned adults from local businesses, community organizations, PTAs and universities to share their experiences with students, showing them what it takes to be successful. JA’s unique approach integrates Georgia’s social studies state standards to align program materials, training, and support. Volunteers are matched with a teacher in a local school and facilitate a series of structured lessons with students during a specified class time. JA programs can be delivered in a variety of formats, including after school or as a one-day event.
To provide our programs free of charge, JA of Georgia relies on the generous support of our donors.
JA of Georgia’s volunteers are the critical link between the business and education communities.
Teachers are where everything starts; get your students involved in Junior Achievement.
