DONATE YOUR OLD BOOKS AND HELP INCREASE LITERACY AROUND THE WORLD

ATLANTA- Junior Achievement of Georgia (JA of Georgia) is the newest book donation site in Atlanta. Donors can drive by the office anytime of the day to drop off their old or unwanted books in the bright green donation bin located in the west end of the parking lot. All book donations support Better World Books and their mission to bring literacy and opportunity to people around the world.
More than 30 million Americans are functionally illiterate. And, in the midst of this epidemic, over two billion pounds of books become landfill every year! JA of Georgia has teamed up with Better World Books to help provide a solution. Better World Books sells donated books online for a highly discounted price. For each book purchased, they give one away to someone in need. Since 2003 Better World Books has raised over $10 million for global literacy and reused/recycled over 51 million books.
JA is proud to team up with another organization that works to provide opportunities for youth around the world. Together, we are inspiring a generation to succeed.
Book collection box is located in the parking lot at 460 Abernathy Rd. NE., Atlanta, GA 30328
To provide our programs free of charge, JA of Georgia relies on the generous support of our donors.
JA of Georgia’s volunteers are the critical link between the business and education communities.
Teachers are where everything starts; get your students involved in Junior Achievement.
