Junior Achievement of Georgia celebrated a successful finish to The Executive Auction, which closed on October 30, 2009. The Executive Auction allowed participants to bid online for access to a top executive for themselves as well as a JA Fellow www.jafellows.com. Winning bidders are provided the opportunity to establish and build business relationships with influential executives while also sponsoring the introduction of ambitious high school students to career possibilities. The Executive Auction kicked off at Cocktails & Dollars, a professional networking and fundraising event chaired by Ralph de la Vega, President and CEO of AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, on August 27, 2009. Over 25 top level executives participated in the auction, helping to raise over $16,000 to support Junior Achievement’s programs in metro Atlanta.
Thank you to our hosts, whose participation made this event a success.
