
The JA Fellows and its partners awarded over $17,000 in scholarships and competition prize money at the JA Fellows Awards Ceremony on April 23. Group awards were given to the best companies and individual scholarships and awards recognized outstanding accomplishments and personal growth of these future Atlanta business leaders. Competitions included Best Company, ACG Most Innovative Company, Outstanding Young Business Person and Best Sales Pitch.
Best Company
First Place: MagneticKits, a Sandy Springs-based student company which sold magnetic organizers.
Second Place: JUMP, an Atlanta-based company that sold jump drive bracelets. A portion of this company’s proceeds went to cancer and AIDS research.
Third Place: Circle of Life, an Alpharetta-based company which sold jewelry with a distinct circle design. A portion of this company’s proceeds were donated to St. Jude’s Hospital.

GAIA, a Marietta-based student company which sold refillable water bottles with a state of the art filter, simultaneously quenching thirst, saving money, and reducing waste.
