Junior Achievement of Georgia’s Augusta district has partnered with Veracity Payment Solutions to develop and test a new program where “small change becomes big money for Georgia’s students”. In an innovative initiative, the merchant credit card processor is donating a percentage of its transaction revenue to the Augusta JA office.
With a call center based in Aiken, S.C., Veracity Payment Solutions is a payment processing and information company dedicated to local community investment and service in the markets it serves. A special program, Achiever’s Alliance Network has been established whereby small companies wishing to support Junior Achievement can do so every time one of their customers uses a debit or credit card. Unlike other affinity-type programs, this initiative does not cost the business any additional revenue or the purchase of a special card; rather, each time a card is used by a business in their network of customers, Veracity will contribute a percentage of the revenue.
For Veracity Payment Solutions, the alliance with the Junior Achievement fulfills their belief in community-driven initiatives while helping JA of Georgia’s Augusta office by providing a passive revenue stream to be used in service to local community students.
To provide our programs free of charge, JA of Georgia relies on the generous support of our donors.
JA of Georgia’s volunteers are the critical link between the business and education communities.
Teachers are where everything starts; get your students involved in Junior Achievement.
