Paola Machado has been a volunteer and advocate for JA of Georgia’s JA Hispanic Outreach Program in the Columbus area.
“Columbus State University is now in its third year of reaching out to the Hispanic community, and our success has been made possible by joining forces with those who share our mission,” said Machado. “Our partnership with JA’s Hispanic Outreach Program has been essential in strengthening our efforts to help local students learn how to go to college and take advantage of the programs that Columbus State University has to offer them. It is an honor to have them as a part of our team, and we look forward to continuing to build an even stronger connection with JA and our local Hispanic community.”
Machado was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and came to Columbus State University through a Georgia Rotary Student Program Scholarship in 2001.
To provide our programs free of charge, JA of Georgia relies on the generous support of our donors.
JA of Georgia’s volunteers are the critical link between the business and education communities.
