In her years working with JA of Georgia, Stacey Del-Prince Mejak has been an amazing champion of our mission in the education community. She initiates planning meetings early in order to have plans for participation with Job Shadows and traditional programs. She shows her passion for JA by referring other Business Connection teachers, and even spoke about JA at a conference this summer. She signes up all of her classes every 9 weeks for JA. Mejak has stated her belief in the importance of volunteers sharing their life experiences with her students through in-class programs, as well as the importance of her students creating meaningful life experiences by attending Job Shadow. Ms. Mejak is a pleasure to work with and she strives to empower her students to make wise life choices. JA of Georgia's Atlanta District office is pleased to announce Stacey Mejak as its Teacher of the Year.
To provide our programs free of charge, JA of Georgia relies on the generous support of our donors.
JA of Georgia’s volunteers are the critical link between the business and education communities.
