Junior Achievement

Laura Hill embodies many qualities of a great Junior Achievement volunteer. Not only does she take on the responsibility of teaching children about the economy as a personal mission, but she also takes the initiative to seek out new schools in which to offer Junior Achievement programs. Last year, Hill was able to create a relationship with World Changes Christian Academy (WCCA), a school JA of Georgia had not worked with prior to this. Hill and her colleagues from the AT&T Pioneers of Georgia were able to register and teach all grade levels in the elementary school. She has continued to show her passion for Junior Achievement in FY 09 as she has already registered 7 classes that she will be teaching at Campbell Elementary School this fall. JA of Georgia's Atlanta District office is pleased to announce Laura Hill as its Volunteer of the Year!
